Northern Stars has served Barrie families since 2015 with a Montessori and Reggio Emilia inspired approach.
Our Approach
We blend the structure and independence of the Montessori method with the creativity and project work of Reggio Emilia. Children learn through exploration, hands-on experiences and meaningful relationships in classrooms designed for their age and stage.
As a licensed child care centre and CWELCC participant, we combine Ministry of Education standards with warm, home-like care from trained early childhood educators.
